FINDINGS / 04 · MODEL RESEARCH

A small model-training screen

Did this small training segment change the answers in its diagnostic screen?

01 / QUESTION

The question.

A local Laya/Qwen research track tested a short training segment and compared the resulting package with its earlier diagnostic screen.

02 / SETUP

How it was studied.

The 4 October 2026 screen used four trained correction cases with the original histories and strict whole-JSON scoring. It was a training diagnostic, not a held-out evaluation.

03 / OBSERVATIONS

What happened.

  • All four requests completed, and the recorded raw answers were identical to the before screen.
  • Two of the four answers met the exact, typed JSON correctness check. This small comparison did not show an answer improvement.

04 / EVIDENCE

Behind the result.

The Laya/Qwen post-v5 native transfer screen and its bounded read-only review, 4 October 2026. Original receipts are held locally and are not yet published.

05 / LIMITATIONS

What this does not establish.

Four training cases cannot establish held-out quality, general improvement, model equivalence or beta readiness. The comparison does not rule out effects on other prompts or under other conditions.
