Arbor

A proof of concept for evidence-backed software-agent workflows.

01 / OVERVIEW

What it is.

Arbor stages candidate changes, tracks criteria and evidence, and gives an operator a keep, discard or undo decision. Its design credits the third-party Garden at garden.engineering for the product idea and ARTEX for engineering patterns. Execution uses the third-party AgentVM. These are separate from AblitAI Lab's Garden and AgenticVM projects.

02 / PROJECT TIMELINE

From idea to evidence.

Recorded milestones show how this project developed. Dates describe documented events, not necessarily when the project began.

  1. UNDATED

    Plan and design

The project defined criteria, boundaries, candidate staging and a human decision on proposed changes.

  2. UNDATED

    Workflow built

A vertical slice brought together agent workflows, evidence and keep, discard or undo decisions.

  3. UNDATED

    Offline testing

The recorded test suite uses a deterministic mock provider to exercise the proof of concept.

  4. LATEST RECORDED

    Current stage

Proof of concept. Its execution cell is not a security sandbox and agents run as the host user.

03 / EVIDENCE

What the records show.

The repository describes an end-to-end vertical slice and a test suite using a deterministic mock provider.

04 / LIMITATIONS

What remains open.

The execution cell is an accounting and rollback boundary, not a security sandbox. Multi-user operation, remote execution and pull-request creation are not part of the proof of concept.
